Crawley Town have officially parted ways with manager Rob Elliot as the club struggles in League One, sitting 12 points from safety.
Elliot, 38, took charge at Broadfield Stadium in October after Scott Lindsey’s departure to League Two side MK Dons.
However, the former Newcastle United goalkeeper has endured a tough tenure, winning just six of his 33 games while suffering 19 defeats.
With Crawley currently in 22nd place and facing the threat of relegation in their first season back in the third tier, the club has turned to Louis Storey as interim head coach, with Anthony Sweeney stepping in as interim assistant head coach.
In a statement, Crawley Town expressed their gratitude to Elliot:
"The club would like to thank Rob for all of his efforts during his time at Broadfield Stadium and wish him all the best for the future."
Storey’s first game in charge will be a crucial home fixture against Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
