Former Tottenham managing director of football, Fabio Paratici, is in discussions with AC Milan over a potential move to become their new sporting director. If finalized, the deal would sever his ongoing ties with Spurs.
Paratici, 52, stepped down from his role at Tottenham Hotspur in April 2023 after receiving a global football ban from FIFA due to financial irregularities linked to his time at Juventus. However, with his suspension set to end this summer, he is now free to return to football management.
According to sources close to Paratici, talks with AC Milan are progressing, making a move to Serie A increasingly likely.
Despite officially leaving Tottenham, the Italian executive has remained involved with the club in a consultancy role and has been a frequent attendee at Spurs' home games. There were even reports that the Premier League side was considering bringing him back in a more formal capacity.
However, should negotiations with AC Milan prove successful, Paratici is expected to fully cut ties with Tottenham and shift his focus to rebuilding Milan’s squad. During his tenure at Spurs, he played a key role in high-profile signings, including Cristian Romero, Dejan Kulusevski, and Rodrigo Bentancur.
