Swindon Town manager Ian Holloway has committed his future to the club, signing a new contract that will keep him at the League Two side until the end of the 2027-28 season.
Holloway took charge at The County Ground in October 2024, marking his return to management nearly four years after leaving Grimsby Town.
At the time of his appointment, Swindon were just three points above the relegation zone. Under his leadership, the Robins have climbed to 15th place, with eight games remaining in the season.
Swindon have picked up 36 points from 24 league games since Holloway’s arrival and have been particularly strong at home, going unbeaten in their last 10 League Two matches at the Nigel Eady County Ground.
"I'm absolutely delighted to have signed a new contract. I'm honoured to be trusted," Holloway said.
"We want to grow our fanbase and strengthen the connection between the team and supporters. It’s important that everyone understands why they are here and what this club stands for."
Swindon chairman Clem Morfuni and CEO Anthony Hall expressed their confidence in Holloway, stating:
"Ian has revitalized the squad since his arrival in October and has taken the team in the right direction. We truly believe in the culture he is building at the club."
