Viktor Gyökeres has no interest in a summer move to Nottingham Forest, despite their bid to secure a Champions League spot.
Since joining Sporting CP from Coventry City in 2023, the Swedish striker has been in sensational form, netting an incredible 83 goals and 25 assists in all competitions.
This season alone, he has already racked up 40 goals and 10 assists, solidifying his reputation as one of Europe’s most sought-after forwards.
Unsurprisingly, his goal-scoring exploits have attracted interest from top clubs across Europe. Reports from the UK have linked him with a Premier League switch, with Nottingham Forest emerging as a potential suitor.
However, according to Portuguese outlet Record, Gyökeres is unlikely to consider a move to Forest, even if they qualify for the Champions League under Nuno Espírito Santo.
With his stock rising, Gyökeres is expected to weigh his options carefully ahead of the summer transfer window. Bigger European clubs could still make a move, but for now, a switch to Nottingham Forest appears off the table.
