Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has officially announced that he will leave the club when his current contract expires at the end of the 2024/25 season.
The 33-year-old Belgian international has enjoyed a glittering spell at the Etihad Stadium since arriving from Wolfsburg in 2015. During his time in Manchester, De Bruyne has lifted 16 major trophies, including six Premier League titles and the historic UEFA Champions League win in 2023.
Taking to social media to share the news, De Bruyne wrote: "Every story comes to an end, but this has definitely been the best chapter."
As one of the Premier League’s most influential players of the modern era, De Bruyne's departure marks the end of a legendary era at Manchester City.
