The Blues, managed by
Enzo Maresca, were the clear favorites to win the competition and took the lead just four minutes into the second half. Tyrique George, the 19-year-old winger, reacted quickest to a rebound following a shot by Reece James that had been parried by Legia's goalkeeper, Kacper Tobiasz.
George, who has represented England at under-19 level, has featured in 10 European matches for Chelsea this season but is yet to start a Premier League match for the senior team.

In the 57th minute, Noni Madueke sealed Chelsea’s dominance with a well-taken goal. The substitute finished low into the corner after a brilliant assist from Jadon Sancho, putting the visitors comfortably ahead.
Penalty Missed, But Chelsea Seals Victory
Chelsea was awarded a penalty in the 73rd minute when Christopher Nkunku was fouled in the box, but Tobiasz made a crucial save to deny Nkunku’s spot-kick. However, Madueke quickly responded, finishing off a Sancho cross for his second goal of the night and ensuring a 3-0 lead for Chelsea.

The
second leg of the Conference League quarter-final will take place at Stamford Bridge on Thursday, 17 April. Chelsea will face either Djurgardens or Rapid Vienna in the semi-finals, with the tie shaping up to be an exciting battle for European glory.
